I want to commend and recommend Donna Pollack as a pet sitter. She recently cared for my rescue cat, Otis. He is a senior citizen kitty and loves Donna. She took great care of him and I find him at the front door now, waiting for her. How many pets actually endorse their sitters?
Thank you, Donna
Donna did a great job taking care of my cat…she did such a good job that my kitty was not too excited to see me when I returned!!! That is exactly the reaction I want to see when I return….one happy cat that had everything she needed in my absence! I highly recommend Donna — she is terrific!
Donna has been minding my mini-dachshund Heidi for 3 weeks while I work. I have been very pleased with Donna’s care of Heidi, and I would not hesitate to recommend Donna as a pet-sitter to others. It’s been a blessing to have Donna take care of my dog during the day, because I am a new pet parent who also works full time. I have not had to worry about Heidi as I know she is getting a lot of attention, loving, socialization and play time.
My dog is a shelter/rescue and was probably an “only dog” before that, and is a happy but not well socialized. Donna helped my dog adjust to a multi-dog environment, as she was fostering two puppies at the same time. She has also been teaching Heidi some basic commands for sitting, heeling and staying.
Donna is not afraid to let dogs be dogs, and let them learn to adjust to each other gently. This means getting along in general, sharing food and toys and bed, not just playing. Donna is kind and calm but firm with dogs. She is obviously very fond of dogs. She is good at setting limits for them so that they learn to obey commands. She gives them plenty of attention and loving, but also makes sure they pay attention to commands so that they are safe.
